This fall, Audrey Heffernan Meyer will produce and star in Art of Leaving at the Signature Theater in New York City.

Previously in New York, Audrey was seen at Theatre for The New City playing the role of Diana in Anne Lucas’s PARTY?, after playing Deborah in another Lucas play, From Silence. This year, at the 2025 Adirondack Theatre Festival, Audrey starred as former Ziegfeld Follies girl Ethel Etheridge in the new musical Tuning In!
Her acclaimed one-woman show, Back in the Nick of Time!, enjoyed engagements at both 54 Below and Joe’s Pub.
Off Broadway, originated the role of Kay Morgan in Joe Godfrey’s Romance Language at Ars Nova, played Janet in the original musical This One’s for the Girls, and performed Grushinskaya in Grand Hotel at St. Clemens. Other NY theater includes Merrily We Roll Along at Astoria Performing Arts, Quilt at Playwrigh’s Horizons, Oliver! at Gallery Players, as well as The Gondoliers, The Magic Flute, Carmen, Pagliacci, and Orpheus.

Her most memorable theater experience? Appearing in the Broadway Workshop of Zorba with the inimitable and dearly departed Chita Rivera, may she rest in peace.
